Having decided to go ahead with a cataract operation I am astonished at the change to my vision. I hadn’t realised how dim some things had looked until after this transformation, The experience was wholly positive. My thanks to Mr Mitry who was clear about what would happen and informative and helpful about whether to go ahead with a follow up to have the second eye sorted.
Then, recently he has operated on my cataract. This was done promptly and has meant that I can see properly again. It has been easy to get in touch with his secretary and schedule appointments so that they fit in with my schedule.
We take our sight for granted but when we lose it, even partially, it affects your confidence and ability to do many things. Hence I believe it's so important that you can have complete confidence in your doctors. I feel I have had the best possible care by Dr Mitry and would thoroughly recommend him.
I saw Danny on the 12th June and he arranged to do the two cataracts on the 7th and 17th July respectively (I am fortunate to have Private Health Insurance, so no waiting necessary). Both surgeries went extremely well and I am delighted with the outcome.
Danny is soft spoken and friendly and clearly knows what he is doing. I would have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending him to anyone seeking the services of an ophthalmic surgeon.
He didn't keep me waiting at all.
He is very, very confident and knowledgeable in what he does and very gentle.
He also has a fantastic bedside manner and calmed me down immediately.
I need to have my floaters removed and I trust him 100% to do the operation, which I shall be organising in two weeks when I see him again.
Thank you again for seeing me so promptly.
I also want to say how very efficient his secretary Beth was And also, how kind and understanding and patient.
His nurse who
gave me the eye test was also very, very kind patient and understanding
best wishes

I had a vitrectomy and lens replacement procedure in my right eye, with an extended depth of focus Toric lens, at the London Clinic. I’m delighted with the almost total absence of floaters and also the clear vision I now get. I need to have my left eye done now and can’t wait!!
My surgery was explained in detail, my concerns alleviated and the recovery period uneventful..
I would highly commend Mr Mitry and his team at the London eye clinic.
I felt comfortable and at ease having this procedure carried out by him.
The surgery was a great success, and it has resulted in me having a much clearer view of the world!
I had a cataract procedure on my left eye at the London Clinic under Mr Mitry's care. My initial assessment appointment was arranged within one week of my first enquiry and at the assessment, i was offered two dates for my procedure, and i selected the earliest date which was only just over two weeks later. The speed with which i could get my issue dealt with was a significant positive to me - no-one looks forward to eye surgery and it is no fun having a long wait for the date to arrive. The communication from the Clinic was excellent and i was able to have my pre-op health assessment over the telephone in advance and also speak with the anaesthetist. On the day of the procedure, everything ran very smoothly and i was out of the Clinic about 4.5 hours after arriving with clear instructions on post-op self-care and with all necessary medication. A post-op appointment with Mr Mitry was already in the calendar for a week later and all was fine and i was signed-off. A really smooth and successful experience and i would strongly recommend Mr Mitry for your eye health needs.
The entire process was straightforward from start to finish, the experience stress-free, and the outcome transformative. Thanks again.
